MISSION
The mission of the Snow Village is to offer its customers a high quality service and to exceed their expectations. We want to reinvent the Ice Hotel accomodation model, by always pushing further the bounderies of what is being accomplished around the world.
OBJECTIVES
The Snow Village wants to become the first ice hotel chain in the world with facilities in Canada, Finland and Norway. Another important goal of the Snow Village Team is to reach its customers by always offering a product tailored to their needs and tastes. Finally, the Snow Village wishes to acquire the status of innovator in the industry.
DIRECTORS
Guy Bélanger – President
Mr. Bélanger has always been passionate about entrepreneurship. An excellent communicator, Mr. Bélanger has been successful in leading the Spark & Co, of which he is a co-founder, as head of Sales and Marketing for the past 9 years.
The company specializes in sales of robotics & turnkey manufacturing solutions. Spark & Co. has positioned itself as a leader in its field and currently services the aerospace, medical and automobile industries.
In addition to his extensive experience is promoting special events, Mr. Bélanger has worked during 4 years in business development for BOA Communications, a communication firm dedicated to the promotion of special events in the Montreal, Laval and North Shore areas.

Carl Fugère – VP Marketing & Operations
Mr. Fugère was the co-founder of Neotech, a business incubator in the field of technology. He is a serial entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in web technology and software development. Mr. Fugère is a visionary entrepreneur with impressive communication skills and a deep understanding of technology and market trends. He has also been the editor of Quebec Micro, the first technology magazine in Quebec.
Mr. Fugère has played a key role in the creation of several success companies, such as Virtual Paper, which has over 2500 customers in 35 countries. He has worked in the hotel management sector during more than 10 years in strategic positions such as: cook, waiter, bartender, and manager.

Yanick Tremblay – VP Architecture/Design
Mr. Tremblay is president and founder of Groupe YK, a leader in hotel supply management for over 6 years. His company has contributed to the development and success of several real estate projects, both in Canada and the United States, namely: Intrawest Hotels, Marriott Hotels, Hilton Hotels, the Ritz Carlton Hotel…
Previously, he held the same position for Alest Inc, a company that he co-founded in 2002. Since 2005, Mr. Tremblay owns and manages residential income properties. Excellent communicator and negotiator, Mr. Tremblay can count on a strong network of business contacts, particularly in the tourism sector. Disciplined and committed, he has participated in various sporting challenges.

Robert Marcotte – General Director of the Ice Restaurant and Ice Bar
Actively involved in the field of event planning for the past fifteen years, Robert Marcotte acquired a great deal of knowledge through the many assignments he carried out for the Just For Laughs festival. Not only did he manage several night clubs, but he was also in charge of organizing various celebrations, press conferences and welcoming artists.
Robert was responsible for coordinating events at the Just For Laughs museum and hosting corporate functions that took place at the museum. These various assignments gave him the opportunity to establish contacts at the international level and learn many aspects of event planning and designing thus contributing to his solid experience.

Alexandra Forget – Coordinator, Corporate Affairs
Miss Forget is the Coordinator of Corporate Affairs for the Snow Village in Montreal. She completed a Bachelor of Industrial Relations at the University of Montreal and collaborated with several national and international firms.
With more than 15 years of experience in the field of Human Resources and Sales, Alexandra is known for her sharp business acumen, communication and interpersonal skills and her sense of leadership.

Rami Kurtakko – Director of Construction
Mr. Kurtakko is the founder and manager of the Snow Village in Finland. He has been managing the Snow Village for over 10 years, and is directly involved at various managerial levels (hotel, Ice Restaurant, Ice Bar), as well as in personnel management.
Furthermore, Mr. Kurtakko has developed new technologies in collaboration with the Government of Finland in order to increase the security levels in ice constructions.
